The thing is， you want to be able to see your tealight candles， so smaller cans are better for this craft. If you have any of those canned chicken cans， you can use those as well. I don’t recommend taller cans though， like the ones that you get canned veggies in.
I used Washi tape to decorate my little tuna cans， but you could also use paint or any number of other decorative techniques. Washi tape is a good choice because it is available in so many wonderful colors and designs.
